A Night of Belgian Unity: Ambassador Carole van Eyll Meets the Belgian Community in Accra
The Belgian community in Ghana recently enjoyed a vibrant evening of networking and camaraderie at the White Restaurant and Gardens in Accra. The “after-work” reception was held in honor of Her Excellency Carole van Eyll, the Ambassador of Belgium to Ghana (resident in Abidjan), who was in the capital for a high-profile official visit.
The event provided a relaxed atmosphere for Belgians living and working in Ghana to connect directly with their Ambassador and discuss the growing ties between the two nations.
Community & Connection
Under the stars at White Restaurant and Gardens, the Ambassador took the time to engage with entrepreneurs, NGO representatives, and Belgian expats. The discussions spanned various topics, from business opportunities within the AfCFTA framework to the cultural exchange that continues to define the Belgian-Ghanaian experience.
“It is always a pleasure to see the dynamism of the Belgian diaspora here in Accra. Your contributions to the Ghanaian economy and your role as unofficial ambassadors are what truly give life to our bilateral relationship.” — H.E. Carole van Eyll
