From modest beginnings to a renowned entrepreneur, Ghassan Yared has been at the forefront of business innovations and practices ever since the beginning of his career. Driven by a strong vision and an unflinching will, he has created enterprises that have become icons in the trade industry and also symbolizes a host of business success stories.

His business and managerial expertise started in the West African Sub region, where he turned trading businesses into leading distribution and marketing companies. Determined to expand his business horizon, in 1993 he founded in Ghana his first venture, Forewin Ghana Limited that had become a leader and a reference in the field of distribution and marketing. His passion and trust in Ghana drove him to attract investors and aggressively diversify into various sectors of the economy.

Believing in the abundant talents of professionals in Ghana, he built a strong management team that shared his vision and have now grown into a Forewin family in excess of 1500 members. Today, Forewin Group became a conglomerate of various business entities leading the way in innovation to service his vision of “Reaching out to the People of Ghana”. Our CSR is to continuously support the educational sector and communities where we operate.

    • Diplo FZE Limited, a free zone duty free network.
    • Mabani Holdings Ghana Limited, a real estate holding with an impressive property portfolio. MHGL in partnership with Actis UK, is undertaking one of the largest mixed used development in the prime airport area of Accra called “THE EXCHANGE. A unique offering, the first of its kind; a place to live, relax, shop and work.
    • HMD Forewin Limited, an exclusive supplier of high-quality brands for construction, mining, earthmoving, asphalt, agriculture, recycling and transportation machinery, in addition to building materials and plant equipment. Offering a full workshop facilities, spare parts and after sales service. Brand portfolio includes BOMAG, Doosan, Bobcat, Merlo, Cifa, Jab and others.

Ghassan, self-made & self-educated during the course of his career he completed a post Graduate Advanced Management Program AMP at the renowned INSEAD Fontainebleau, the Business School of the World. His contribution to the Ghanaian economy is noticeable. Ghassan has always encouraged others to contribute their quota to national development with guiding principles that whatever they did should be based on trust, win-win and
transparency.
