Hon. Subhi Accad
Honorable Subhi Accad is a seasoned businessman with extensive expertise in diplomacy, enabling him to navigate the complexities of international relations with proficiency. Since 2009, he has served as the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Ghana, fostering strong bilateral relations between the two nations. In recognition of his outstanding service, he was awarded the Order of the Aztec Eagle, the highest honor granted by the Mexican government to foreign nationals.
Hon. Accad also serves as the Deputy Dean of the Honorary Consular Corps of Ghana (HCCGH), contributing to the strategic leadership of the organization.
In addition to his diplomatic role, Hon. Accad is the Group CEO of the Accad Group, a diversified business conglomerate with operations across multiple sectors:
• Universal Motors Ltd. (UML) – Authorized importers of Volkswagen (VW) vehicles in Ghana, providing both sales and after-sales services. UML is also the authorized after-sales service provider for Porsche vehicles in Ghana.
• Auto Parts Ltd. (APL) – Authorized importers of Nissan vehicles and spare parts. APL is also the importer of Mercury and Quicksilver marine products and represents Petlas Tyres, a manufacturer of agricultural, commercial,
and military tires.
• Grace Mobility (GM) – Distributors of Wuling and Hongqi electric vehicles, Jinpeng scooters and tricycles, and Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile (ZNA) pickups. GM is collaborating with T Technologies Power Products Manufacturing Limited to introduce electric vehicle (EV) chargers in Ghana.
Mr. Accad also serves as the Managing Director of Accad Healthcare, which operates under the brand Fluid Concepts Ghana to market air-to water generators, providing a sustainable source of pure water to improve public health.
His passion for philanthropy is evident in his role as the Chairman of the Board of Operation Smile Ghana, a nonprofit organization that offers free reconstructive facial surgery to children and adults with cleft conditions.
He is also an active member of the Board of Governors of the Millennium Excellence Foundation, a distinguished non-profit organization under the patronage of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene.
Mr. Accad is happily married to Hania Accad, and they are the proud parents of five daughters. He remains deeply committed to causes focused on children’s welfare, economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, science, and technology.
