Hon. Edmond Boateng is an accomplished diplomat, entrepreneur, and international relations expert whose work has focused extensively on economic diplomacy, investment promotion, international cooperation, finance, and sustainable development. Over the course of an impressive professional career spanning more than two decades, he has built a strong reputation as a trusted advisor, policy strategist, and business facilitator within both the public and private sectors.

About Luxemburg Consul

As the Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Republic of Ghana, Hon. Boateng has actively worked to strengthen bilateral relations between Ghana and Luxembourg, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, innovation, finance, technology, and sustainable economic cooperation. His office has become an important platform for fostering strategic partnerships and facilitating engagement between institutions and businesses in both jurisdictions.

He is widely recognized for his strong understanding of international relations, diplomacy, cross border business strategy, and economic cooperation. His work consistently emphasizes collaboration, inclusive growth, institutional strengthening, and practical solutions that create long term impact for communities and organizations alike. His calm leadership style, strategic insight, and principled approach have earned him the respect of diplomatic, governmental, and corporate stakeholders both in Ghana and internationally.

Hon. Boateng is also the Founder of the Evimeria Group and President of the EkB Foundation, organizations dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, social impact initiatives, and sustainable community development.

In 2026, he was elected Secretary of the Honorary Consular Corps of Ghana (HCCGH), a leadership role that reflects the confidence of the diplomatic community in his vision, coordination skills, and commitment to institutional strengthening. In this role, he continues to champion enhanced communication, operational efficiency, collaboration, and visibility for the work of honorary consuls in Ghana while advancing Ghana’s growing role in international diplomacy and economic engagement.

Hon. Boateng holds Bachelor’s and Master’s level academic training from the University of Ghana, Legon. He has also undertaken executive education and professional development programmes in Financial Management and Value for Money Assessment at globally respected institutions including Harvard University, the University of Oxford, and the College of Europe. His academic and executive training background has strengthened his expertise in governance, strategic leadership, public financial management, international cooperation, and institutional development.
