The Honorary Consular Corps of Ghana (HCCGH) has successfully conducted elections to appoint its Executive Committee and establish key Working Committees for the 2025–2027 term.

The elections were held under the leadership of the Dean of HCCGH, Hon. Dimitrios Avraam, Consul of Belgium, and Deputy Dean Hon. Subhi Accad, Consul of Mexico. The event took place at the Grace Mobility Showroom in Accra.

The newly elected Executive Committee members are as follows:

  • Secretary (2025): Hon. Kwame Acquah, Consul of Seychelles

  • Secretary (2025–2028): Hon. Antonio Fernandes, Consul of Portugal

  • Treasurer: Hon. Felix Gomis, Consul of Cabo Verde

  • Executive Director: Hon. Ashok Mohinani, Consul of Uruguay

  • Executive Director: Hon. Nicholina Annor-Adjei, Consul of New Zealand

The chairs of the newly formed Working Committees include:

  • Government of Ghana & Local Authorities Relations Committee:
    Hon. Hilton John Mitchell, Consul of Trinidad and Tobago (Chairperson)

  • Motivation & Membership Coordination Committee:
    Hon. Thomas Okyere, Consul of Botswana (Chairperson)

  • Social Events & Community Projects Committee:
    Hon. Nickie Akosa, Consul of Sweden (Chairperson)

In his remarks, Hon. Dean Dimitrios Avraam emphasized the Corps’ commitment to strengthening the role of Honorary Consuls in Ghana through reliable partnerships that foster capacity-building, production, and technology transfer aligned with Ghana’s developmental goals.
