Celebrating Luxembourg: Happy National Day

On June 23, 2026, we join the people of Luxembourg in celebrating their National Day (Nationalfeierdag).

The Honorary Consular Corps of Ghana extends its warmest congratulations to the Grand Ducal family, the government, and the people of Luxembourg on this joyous occasion. This day, which traditionally honors the official birthday of the Grand Duke, is a time of vibrant festivities, unity, and national pride across the Grand Duchy.

A Celebration of Tradition and Modernity Luxembourg is admired globally for its rich heritage, its commitment to international cooperation, and its role as a key hub for peace and prosperity in Europe. We deeply value the friendship and the diplomatic ties that connect our two nations. Whether through economic partnership or shared goals for a sustainable future, Ghana and Luxembourg continue to find meaningful ways to collaborate and support one another.

Celebrating the Spirit of the Day From the iconic torchlight processions that light up the streets on the eve of the holiday to the official ceremonies that mark the day itself, we join our friends in Luxembourg in spirit as they commemorate this special time. We hope that this year’s celebrations—marked by the pageantry, music, and sense of community that define this national day—bring much happiness to the people of Luxembourg.

We wish all our Luxembourgish partners, colleagues, and friends, both here in Ghana and around the world, a wonderful and memorable National Day.

Schéinen Nationalfeierdag!
